Before you install, make sure your site meets the requirements below. Your host can confirm server details, or check them yourself in the Joomla backend under System > System Information.

• Joomla 5.x or 6.x

Before you start

• Make a full backup of your site. Akeeba Backup can create one quickly.
• Update to the latest version of Joomla.

Install the plugin

Autolanguage installs like any other Joomla extension. In the Joomla administrator, go to System > Install > Extensions and upload the installation file you downloaded from our website in the Upload Package File tab. Joomla installs and publishes the plugin automatically.

To confirm the plugin is active, go to System > Manage > Plugins, search for "Autolanguage", and check that it's published.
