Copy Menus Automatically create translated menu types (e.g. mainmenu-nl -> mainmenu-en) when a menu is saved under Menus > Manage.
Translate Menu Items Enable to automatically clone and translate individual menu items to the corresponding target menu.
Update Existing Translations If 'Yes', existing translated items are overwritten with a new translation when you save the source item. If 'No', only new items are created.
Translatable Fields Select which fields the translation service processes. Unselected fields are copied 1-to-1 and not translated. You can choose from: Title, Browser Page Title, Page Heading, Meta Description and Note.
Default State for New Translations Set the publication state for newly created menu item translations. 'Default' copies the state from the original menu item. You can choose from: Default (copy from original), Published, Unpublished, Archived, Trashed.

Menus and menu items are translated separately: enable Copy Menus to get a translated menu container for each language, and Translate Menu Items to translate the items inside it. You typically want both enabled together.
