Configuration - Service & API

Service & API tab:

Translation Service	Choose which service handles translations: Google Translate API Microsoft Azure API OpenAI (ChatGPT) Mistral AI DeepL API PRO version only Google Gemini API PRO version only Anthropic (Claude) PRO version only xAI / Grok PRO version only DeepSeek PRO version only Copy Only, duplicates content without translating it.
DeepL API Key, Glossary ID, Formality, Translation Memory, Custom Instructions (DeepL only)	Enter your key and configure DeepL's extra options here. See "Deepl configuration" and DeepL API Key for the full list of options and how to get a key.
Google Translate API Key (Google Translate only)	Enter your Google Cloud Translation API key. Read how to get your Google Cloud Translation API key here.
Microsoft Azure API Key, Region (Microsoft Azure only)	Key 1 or Key 2 from your Azure Translator resource, and its region (e.g. "westeurope"). Leave Region empty if your resource is Global. Read how to get your Microsoft Azure API key here.
OpenAI API Key, Model (OpenAI only)	Enter your OpenAI API key, then pick a model. The model list loads after you save the key. Read how to get your OpenAI API key here.
Anthropic API Key, Model (Anthropic only)	Enter your Anthropic API key (from console.anthropic.com), then pick a Claude model. The model list loads after you save the key. Read how to get your Anthropic API key here.
Google Gemini API Key, Model (Gemini only)	Enter your Gemini API key, then pick a model. The model list loads after you save the key. Read how to get your Google Gemini API key here.
xAI / Grok API Key, Model (xAI only)	Enter your Grok API key (from console.x.ai), then pick a model. The model list loads after you save the key. Read how to get your Grok API key here.
Mistral AI API Key, Model (Mistral only)	Enter your Mistral AI API key (from console.mistral.ai), then pick a model. The model list loads after you save the key. Read how to get your Mistral AI API key here.
DeepSeek API Key, Model (DeepSeek only)	Enter your DeepSeek API key, then pick a model. The model list loads after you save the key. See "DeepSeek API Key" for how to get a key.
Custom Instructions (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Mistral, xAI and DeepSeek)	Optional: free-text instructions the AI model should follow for every translation, for example a preferred tone or terms to keep untranslated. Shared across all AI-based services.
