Temporary items let an item publish and unpublish itself on a schedule, useful for seasonal menus, limited-time offers or a service that's only available during part of the year.

On the item's Publishing tab, set:

• Start publishing: the date and time the item appears on the site.
• Finish publishing: the date and time the item disappears again.

Both are optional and work independently, set only a start date to publish something in the future, or only a finish date to retire an item automatically without having to remember to unpublish it by hand.
