Categories group your items together, for example "Starters", "Main Courses" or "Services". Price List uses Joomla's own category system, so if you've organised articles into categories before, this will feel familiar.

Open your categories

Go to Components > Price List > Categories. A category called Uncategorised is created automatically on install, you can rename and reuse it instead of creating a new one.

Set up the category

Give it a clear Title; the Alias is generated for you automatically when you save.

You can add a category description, shown below the title on the front end, and, on the Options tab, a category image.

How it looks on the front end

Fonts, colors and spacing follow your site's template by default. If you want more control, the Price List component options include a Custom CSS field so you can style it exactly the way you like.
