- Security: the helper plugin for update logging is only installed when the update server supplies a valid checksum for it, and only from the Joomill update server
- Fix: the PRO-only settings in the free version showed an upgrade badge with no text next to it. Joomla puts every field description behind the inline help toggle, which leaves the badge without the one sentence explaining what it unlocks. Those fields now render their own description, always visible
- Language: the Spanish file is back at full string parity. The upgrade message shown above the form in the free version was missing and appeared as its raw language key

- Addition: Privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com): YouTube sets no cookies or tracking data until the visitor plays the video. GDPR-friendly.
- Addition: Click-to-play facade (lazy load): show only a thumbnail with a play button and load the player, and contact YouTube, only after the visitor clicks. Best for privacy and page speed.
- Addition: The field now accepts full YouTube URLs (watch?v=, youtu.be/, /embed/, /shorts/, /live/) in addition to a plain video ID.
- Addition: New player options: Mute, Show Captions, Play Inline (mobile), Loop, Start Time and End Time.
- Addition: Per-video start/end time: a timestamp in the pasted URL (?t=90, &start=90, &end=120, in plain seconds or the 1h2m3s format) sets the start/end for that specific video and overrides the global Start/End options.
- Security: The video ID is validated and whitelisted, all output is escaped, and the embed uses modern iframe attributes (loading="lazy", allow, allowfullscreen, title).
- Fix: "Show Controls" default value (2 is no longer valid in the YouTube API; now 1/0).
- Remove: Removed the deprecated "Show Info" option.
