Documentation: Custom Quick Icons module
E-commerce Quick Icons
When you have an e-commerce extension installed, the Custom Quick Icons module has some direct links to the most used pages.
We support:
- DJ-Catalog2
- EasyStore (JoomShaper)
- EShop
- HikaShop
- J2Commerce
- Joomshopping
- Phoca Cart
- Virtuemart
Open the module, go to the E-commerce Quick Icons tab and pick your shop under E-commerce Component. The options for that component appear below it. Every quick icon is set to Hide until you switch it to Show.
EasyStore support was added in version 2.8.0, with quick icons for the dashboard, products, collections, brands, categories, tags, orders, coupons, reviews, customers, analytics and settings.
J2Commerce
Since version 2.9.0 the J2Commerce quick icons follow the quick icons module that comes with J2Commerce itself. You get the same icons in the same order, and you choose per icon whether it is shown:
- Dashboard
- Products, Inventory, Vendors, Manufacturers and Filters
- Orders, Customers, Coupons and Vouchers
- Countries, Zones, Geo Zones, Tax Rates and Tax Profiles
- Email Templates, Invoice Templates and Custom Fields
- Payment Methods and Shipping Methods
- Queues, Analytics, Reports and Apps
- Configuration
The titles under the icons come from J2Commerce, so they are the same as in the J2Commerce menu and they follow the language of your administrator.
| J2Commerce Dashboard | Shows a quick icon to the J2Commerce dashboard. The icon hides itself when you are already on that dashboard. |
| J2Commerce Configuration | Opens the J2Commerce options. Only administrators who are allowed to configure J2Commerce see this icon. |
| J2Commerce 3rd Party Plugins | Also shows the quick icons of J2Commerce plugins that have dashboard integration enabled, such as payment methods and apps. Which icons appear depends on the plugins you have installed. |
An administrator only sees the J2Commerce quick icons when they have access to J2Commerce.
Updating from an older version
J2Store was renamed to J2Commerce with version 6. Up to version 2.8.1 the quick icons still linked to the old J2Store component, so they did not work on a site with J2Commerce 6. Version 2.9.0 fixes this. The quick icons you had selected stay selected after the update, you do not need to set them up again.
The old J2Store component (J2Store 4 and earlier) is no longer supported in this tab. If you still run J2Store 4, you can keep your shortcuts by adding them as Custom Quick Icons.
