Configuration
The Social Share plugin is packed with options, giving you control over how it works and behaves. Here is the full list of the options you can find in the Social Share content plugin settings.
Plugin
| Category Selection | Choose the categories to display the social share buttons in. When no category is selected, the buttons will be shown on all categores. |
| Position on Article | Choose to display the buttons at the top or bottom of the article |
| Display in Category view | Choose whether to display the buttons in a category view |
| Display in Article view | Choose whether to display the buttons in a article view |
| Display in Archive view | Choose whether to display the buttons in a archive view |
| Display in Featured view | Choose whether to display the buttons in a featured view |
| Link Target | Choose if you open the links in a new or in the same window |
Layout
| Select Layout | Choose the layout from plugins/content/socialshare/tmpl/ folder |
The settings below are used for the default layout
| Display Platform Icon | Show or Hide the Platform Icon (based on the width of the browser window) |
| Display Platform Name | Show or Hide the Platform Name (based on the width of the browser window) |
| Prefix Platform Name | Display a short text before the network name, e.g. Share on. This text can be a multilingual constant such as: PLG_CONTENT_SOCIALSHARE_SHARE_ON |
| Sticky on mobile |
Sticky buttons at the bottom of the mobile screen. |
The settings below are used for the yootheme / uikit layout.

- The colors and sizes are defined in YOOtheme Pro or a template which uses UIkit styles.
- This plugin is a native Joomla plugin, not a YOOTheme element.

| Background | Choose the background color. (None, Default, Muted, Primary, Secondary) |
| Text color |
Choose the text color. (Inherit, Light, Dark) |
| Style | Choose the style to display the buttons. The colors and sizes are defined in YOOtheme Pro (Icon, Icon Link, Icon Button) |
| Alignment | Choose the alignment of the buttons (Left, Center, Right) |
