Toolbar reset buttons

Toolbar reset buttons are only available in the PRO version.
Unlock this and other features by upgrading to Joomill Reset Hits PRO

Besides the reset buttons on the module itself, the PRO version ships a separate plugin that adds a Reset Hits dropdown directly to the toolbar of the Joomla screens you already use every day: Articles, Banners, Users and Redirect links.

Install the plugin

The plugin is a separate download from the module, install it the same way: System > Install > Extensions, then enable it under System > Manage > Plugins (search for "Reset Hits"). Both the module and the plugin can be used independently, install the plugin if you want the toolbar buttons described here.

Where the buttons appear

Articles (list and edit) Reset Article Hits, Reset Article Revisions
Banners (list and edit) Reset Banner Impressions, Reset Banner Clicks
Users (list and edit) Reset User Password Counter
Redirect links (list and edit) Reset Redirect Hits

How it resets items

On an edit screen, the button resets only the item you have open. On a list screen, it resets every item that matches your current Joomla list filters, the same category, status, language, author or search filters you already use to narrow that list. There is no separate filter screen to configure, you use the list filters you already have.

This is a different reset method than the module's own buttons described in "Reset options", which have their own dedicated filter selects. Use whichever fits your workflow, both are safe to use side by side.

Permissions

A user needs the same permission they already need to edit that content: Edit State on Articles, Banners or Redirect links, or Manage Users for the user password counter. If a user cannot edit an item, they will not see the reset button for it either.
