Changelog
Type Change
Fix elements that need JavaScript stayed dead in the YOOtheme builder while you were editing them. The builder does not reload the preview on every change; it renders the page again, compares it with the previous render and patches only the part that changed straight into the preview DOM. A script tag inside such a patched fragment never runs, and the element this plugin's JavaScript had set up at page load was thrown away along with the old markup, so the new one sat there unhandled until a manual refresh. It showed up worst on Location Map, where the map simply stayed blank while locations were being added, but it applied just as much to Reading Progress, Sticky To Top and Extended Button. Each of those scripts now watches for its own markup being inserted and initialises it on the spot, so the element keeps working through every edit. Loom HQ already did this and is unchanged. Nothing about the front-end output changes
Addition Location Map can now be drawn with OpenStreetMap instead of Google Maps. The new "Map Service" setting switches between the two; OpenStreetMap needs no API key, no Google Cloud project and no billing account, which was the single most common reason to skip this element. Existing maps are untouched: an element saved before this release carries no service setting and keeps rendering through Google Maps
Addition a "Map Style" setting for the OpenStreetMap service, with six presets (OpenStreetMap, Humanitarian, Streets, Terrain, Light Gray and Satellite) plus a Custom option that takes any `{z}/{x}/{y}` tile URL and its own attribution. Every preset was checked to render without an account, which is the whole point of the option; Carto was dropped from the shortlist because its free basemaps now serve an "API key required" watermark. The preset attributions are hard-coded because each of these servers requires the credit; only a custom server brings its own. The OpenStreetMap servers are meant for light use, so a busy site should move to one of the Esri styles or its own server
Addition the OpenStreetMap map draws its markers as an inline SVG pin, recolourable with `--el-marker-color` and resizable with `--el-pin-width` / `--el-pin-height`. The existing Marker Icon, Marker Icon Height, zoom, fit-markers, popup, list-hover and consent options all behave the same on either service
Addition Joomill scheduled promotion
Addition License status notice
Change Leaflet 1.9.4 ships with the element as a fallback, but the render template prefers the identical build YOOtheme Pro 5 already carries for its own Map element, so a visitor downloads the library at most once. It is loaded on demand, so a page without an OpenStreetMap map loads nothing extra
Change the Google Maps API Key and Map ID fields are hidden when the OpenStreetMap service is selected, and the "enter an API key" warning no longer appears for a map that does not need one
Change Reading Progress and Sticky To Top drive every instance on the page from a single scroll listener instead of registering one per element, so markup that is swapped out no longer leaves a listener behind
Change compatible with Joomla 6.2
Language new strings in all 6 languages; the Spanish ones are a provisional translation awaiting review
