Install the plugin

Before installation, check that your server meets the requirements below. Your host can confirm these, or you can find them yourself in the Joomla backend under System > System information.

Requirements

  • Joomla! 5.x or 6.x

Before you start

  • Create a full backup of your website. Akeeba Backup is a quick way to do this.
  • Update to the latest version of Joomla.

Install by uploading the package

  1. After downloading the installation file, go to System > Install > Extensions in your Joomla administrator.

  2. Select the file under the Upload Package File tab. After a few moments you will see a message confirming the extension is installed.

  3. The plugin is published automatically. To check, go to System > Manage > Plugins, search for Tag Manager, and confirm System - Joomill Tag Manager is set to Published.

Install from the Joomla Extensions Directory

Go to System > Install > Extensions and select the Install from Web tab, then search for Joomill to find our extensions.

Next step: open the plugin's Configuration to add your first tracking tag.
