Install the plugin

The LLMs.txt Generator is installed like any other Joomla plugin.

Requirements

  • Joomla 5.x or 6.x

Before you start

  • Make a full backup of your site. Akeeba Backup is a quick way to do this.
  • Make sure Joomla itself is up to date.

Install the plugin

  1. In your Joomla administrator, go to System > Install > Extensions.

  2. Upload the zip file you downloaded from our website. Joomla installs and enables the plugin automatically.

  3. To confirm it's active, go to System > Manage > Plugins, search for "LLMs.txt Generator", and check that its status is Enabled.

Next step

The plugin creates a daily scheduled task automatically. Go to System > Scheduled Tasks > Generate llms.txt to review or change its settings, see "Configuration" for what each option does.
