# Photo workflow status

Every photo has an internal workflow status that only you, the photographer, can see; it is never shown to the client. Use it to keep track of your editing progress.

 
## The statuses

 
- **No status** – the default; no badge is shown.
- **Selected** – the photo was chosen by a client.
- **To edit** – queued for editing.
- **Edited** – editing is finished.
- **Delivered** – delivered to the client.

 
### Setting the status

 Open a photo under **Components > Client Response Gallery > Photos** and choose the status in the **Workflow status** field on the photo detail page. In the Photos list the status is shown as a coloured badge, and you can filter the list by status.

 
## Automatic "Selected"

 When a client submits their selection, the chosen photos are automatically set to **Selected** — but only when no status has been set manually yet, so a photo you already marked as To edit, Edited or Delivered is never overwritten. Statuses are not reset automatically if a selection is later removed.
